Welcome to Tjendol.com. My name is Bart Carels and this website
shows a collection of my artwork and some of the projects I have completed
for the MSc programme Media Technology.
I have Master's degree in Media Technology and Bachelors degree in Information & Communication Technology. The master programme Media Technology
at Leiden University, The Netherlands tries to combine
existing technology and art to create innovation. You can find some example
projects at the Mediatechnology

The website you are checking right now describes some of the personal
projects I worked on during this study. Furthermore you can look at some
of my artwork. I attended art classes at the Royal Art Academy in The Hague
and design drawing classes at the faculty Industrial Design of the TU
in Delft.
My artwork is devided into a traditional and digital section. The traditional
pieces are either Art Academy assignments or personal works done in charcoal,
paint, pencils or any other traditional medium. The digital pieces are
either concept art or portraits and created with my digital drawing tablet.
